Lofty plans on bunny day!

Today, I'm spending in the studio! No ifs, ands, or colored eggs about it. I plan on taking lots of pictures. Permission to berate me if they aren't posted here is not only granted, but encouraged. Documenting the making of a record does little good without actual documents.

Currently listening to Gorillaz' first album. Last night we dug deep into the CD collection and had a little Duncan Sheik and Urge Overkill listening party. SUCH great records. Rediscovered Tracy Bonham from Duncan Sheik's Myspace page. Inspiration seems to be everywhere. Today, I indulge it.

Thanks to everyone who once again knocked my socks off (ok, not wearing any, but let's pretend here) by voting in my poll this week! 20% would like to see more pictures and videos, another 20% opted for things to buy, and an overwhelming 60% would like to see a forum! Who am I to disappoint you? I've got 'forum' on my to-do list, along with some pictures and videos that I'll be uploading, and I will also be adding a few store items that you might not be ashamed to be seen in public either in or with.

And thank you all for not voting at all to end the reign of my flash player. I really do dig it, and will figure out how to get it to a) not start upon loading the page; and b) not always start on the same song! I mean, I like that riff, but jeez...

Turtle Pace = good?

It's been quite a week! I braved it and submitted "Rear View Mirror" and a couple other tunes (one by my partner in crime Paul and another from our band Post Orgasmic Trauma) for some pretty nifty stuff. I'll update on that as things progress. I've got a huge habit of announcing things a little too early, and I'm going to break myself of it!

I've also started a mindful eating practice. Eating a salad takes about an hour now, but it seems to be worth it in how much more I a) enjoy my food; b) digest it properly; c) eat less. I've been a vegetarian for years, so I don't have a lot of foods to work out of my diet. I could definitely benefit from eating less of the junk foods I do indulge in! Cookie dough ice cream, that means you.
